The Cary Building

Built in 1857, the Cary Building is a landmarked cast-iron building spanning the east end of the block from Chambers Street to Reade Street. Entrance to the commercial space is at 105 Chambers. Entrance to the residences is one block up on Reade Street, on the southwest corner with Church.

The building is easily accessible to many NYC subways. The 1, 2, 3, A, C, E are closest.


To drive, take the West Side Highway to Chambers Street. Three blocks east is Church Street. Turn left onto Church, and left again onto Reade. There is sometimes parking on the street. There is a garage further down Reade Street at Hudson, and elsewhere in the area.
